POCPoint of Control

The price level within a volume profile with the highest traded volume — strong magnet and reaction zone.

The Point of Control (POC) is the price level inside a volume profile that has traded the most volume during the session. POC is a magnetic level: price tends to gravitate back toward it during the day. Acceptance above POC = bullish bias; rejection = bearish.

Day traders use POC as their primary target on intraday reversals. VWAP reclaim → POC is the textbook scalp trade. POCs from the PREVIOUS session also matter — they often act as resistance/support the next day when revisited.
